Ben Cass, Managing Partner 404-423-7604
Ben founded The Interlochen Group in 2000. He is responsible for defining and implementing the corporate strategy of the firm, as well as building relationships with private equity groups. He has 20 years of experience in banking, asset management, public and corporate finance, and venture capital. As a member of KPMG Corporate Finance in Atlanta, his responsibilities included originating and executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures throughout the southeastern United States. In Chicago, Ben first worked for The John Nuveen Co. and specialized in healthcare finance. He subsequently joined another Chicago-based, asset management firm that also provided private equity and venture capital to early-stage companies. He was part of a group that closed nearly 30 private placements during his tenure.

Ben graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Finance and earned his MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University. He has served on the boards of YEO (Young Entrepreneurs' Organization), College-Prep (Free The Children), and The Atlanta Youth Academy. He is a member of Atlanta Venture Forum, Association for Corporate Growth, Ansley Golf Club of Atlanta, and Glen View Club of Chicago.
